Not only was this game wildly popular, but I had multiple friends with PSPs and already owned this game. The first game on my radar was Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee. Being a poor HS student, I had to wait for a birthday to come up before I could get one. Beyond that this was one of the most fun games to play, regardless of genre. This was the first sports game to be actually FUN to play. Between these two games my brother and I would spent COUNTLESS hours going back and forth with the single player to unlock all the courses, and even more rage filled hours in multiplayer. When i finally got my PS2, Hot Shots Golf 3 was already out, and was one of the titles I requested for Christmas to accompany a shiny new console. I was only about 10 years old at the time. The game sucked me in, but honestly any game with enough flash and a friend to play with would keep my attention. My first venture with Everybody's Golf, formerly Hot Shots Golf, was on the PS1 with Hot Shots Golf 2(Everybody's Golf2).
